The magicians lost his magic?! AFL Fantasy Round 15 – Buy Sell Hold

Should you invest in a couple of rookies? Is an old lion definitely on the decline? These are some of the questions that will be answered in the round 15 preview of buy, sell and hold. It’s important to keep in mind that GameDay Squad is a dynasty fantasy football platform and that will be heavily taken into consideration in this article. Let us know your thoughts on who we have down below on all of our socials - twitter, facebook, instagram, discord.

Who will you buy, sell and hold in AFL fantasy round 15?

Buy

Nick Daicos

Nick Daicos needs no introduction to fantasy owners, but Daicos is a different level of importance in GameDay Squad fantasy. GameDay Squad is a dynasty fantasy platform meaning coaches who own any Nick Daicos card at any rarity will own that card forever. If you have Daicos already within your ranks, hold him very closely and cross your fingers that you can find the 1 of 1 legend card that is still out there! It could just be the most valuable card in the game…

Angus Brayshaw

Brayshaw broke out in fantasy way back in 2018 and has since failed to replicate that form, only regressing. Now that he’s back in his most comfortable role, playing off half-back the fantasy cognoscenti gets to reap the benefits! Brayhsaw has eclipsed over 100+ GDS fantasy points in 8 games so far this season and will play a big part in winning coach’s games as the pointy end of the season beckons.

Sell

Chad Wingard

Wingard sucks… and It’s not like he’s playing horrible footy for Hawthorn, it’s just his fantasy scores aren’t translating in the slightest. He’s kicked a goal in every game so far this season and averages 83% time-on-ground (not including round 2 where he left early) but the Chad just can’t find the footy this year. As a player who was one of the better forward options in fantasy just last season, he’s found himself to be un-startable in season 2022.

Dayne Zorko

Ageing, injuries, inconsistency, unknown role – all baggage you don’t want to be attached to a fantasy starter. His role of playing a mixture of literally everywhere from off half-back, to playing inside the forward 50 and stints in the guts, plus his age of 33 is the perfect recipe for inconsistent play. He’ll still have the boom games of 100+, but is it worth it to run the risk of the bust games as well at his age?

Hold

Jason Horne-Francis

Jason Horne-Francis’ footy career has started off a little shaky. With some inconsistent performances on the field and a lot of negative noise off the field with partying and contract negotiations all happening, it’s important as GameDay Squad fantasy coaches we remember that JHF is an absolute dynasty fantasy stud and should absolutely remain a hold-going forward – probably for the next 15 odd years.

Isaac Heeney

The rollercoaster that is owning an Isaac Heeney card in season 2022! He started like a house on fire, hit a rough patch and seems to be coming into some good form again this last couple of weeks. GDS scores of 102 and 122 in his last 2 games mean you just have to hold and enjoy the ride that is being a Heeney owner.
