Fullback
Reece Walsh 61 avg (Broncos vs Titans) — 54% selected
Coming off his best score of the season (87 in R4), Walsh is in red hot form. Three tries and two try assists through four rounds, averaging 145 run metres per game. The Titans have allowed 49 avg GDS to opposing fullbacks in 2026. Walsh’s combination of running threat, playmaking and the occasional goal kick make him a premium pick this week.
Wingers
Jamayne Isaako 57 avg (Dolphins vs Sea Eagles) — 24% selected
Averaging 165 run metres per game with three tries and 14 goals through four rounds, Isaako’s dual threat as a try scorer and goal kicker gives him a unique floor. The Sea Eagles have allowed 63 avg GDS to opposing right wingers in 2026, the highest right winger allowance in the league. Strong momentum from scores of 77 and 74 in the last two weeks makes this an ideal spot.
Thomas Jenkins 73 avg (Panthers vs Storm) — 23% selected
Ten tries and eight line breaks in four rounds. Those numbers are absurd. Averaging 183 run metres per game, Jenkins is the most dangerous finisher in the comp right now. The Storm have allowed 39 avg GDS to opposing left wingers in 2026. The matchup is average, but when a winger is scoring at this rate, matchup data becomes secondary.
Centres
Herbie Farnworth 58 avg (Dolphins vs Sea Eagles) — 70% selected
The most consistent centre in the comp, averaging 156 run metres with 16 offloads through four rounds. His offload game creates opportunities for those around him and adds a layer of fantasy output that most centres can’t match. The Sea Eagles have allowed 30 avg GDS to opposing left centres in 2026. The matchup is below average, but his floor makes him a lock.
Adam Doueihi 75 avg (Wests Tigers vs Eels) — 45% selected
(GDS: CTR) Continues to be named at halfback, not centre. Three try assists, eight goals and a try through three rounds show the level of involvement he gets in the halves. The Eels have allowed 58 avg GDS to opposing halfbacks in 2026. The halfback role transforms his GDS output compared to when he plays centre.
Halves
Nathan Cleary 74 avg (Panthers vs Storm) — 81% selected
The Storm have allowed 39 avg GDS to opposing halfbacks in 2026, which is one of the tighter matchups on paper. But with Cleary, the matchup barely matters. He’s the third highest averaging half in the comp behind Campbell and Boyd, he’s involved in everything the Panthers do, and when the game is on the line, he’s the one with the ball in his hands. His kicking game alone generates a consistent base, and when he adds try assists or a try of his own, the ceiling is enormous. Set and forget.
Nicholas Hynes 66 avg (Sharks vs Warriors) — 37% selected
Two tries, three try assists and 13 goals through four rounds. His goal kicking provides a reliable base every week, and when he gets involved in the attack the ceiling lifts quickly. The Warriors have allowed 42 avg GDS to opposing halfbacks in 2026.
Edge Forwards
Heilum Luki 58 avg (Cowboys vs Dragons) — 20% selected
Averaging 42 tackles and 109 run metres per game, Luki is one of the highest workload edge forwards in the comp. Two tries through four rounds add attacking upside on top of an already strong base. The Dragons have allowed 66 avg GDS to opposing right edge second rowers in 2026 (Preston 75, Chan 42, Tuilagi 47, Hau 98).
Kulikefu Finefeuiaki 64 avg (Dolphins vs Sea Eagles) — 15% selected
Averaging a massive 196 run metres per game, the highest of any edge forward in the comp. Two tries and 33 tackles per game give him a well rounded fantasy profile. Trending upwards with his R4 score of 79. The Sea Eagles have allowed 53 avg GDS to opposing right edge second rowers in 2026.
Middle Forwards
Payne Haas 65 avg (Broncos vs Titans) — 34% selected
When fit, Haas is one of the premier middle forwards in the game. Averaging 162 run metres and 34 tackles across his three games this season. Missed R4. The Titans have allowed 43 avg GDS to opposing props in 2026. One to watch: he’s carrying a shoulder injury and may see reduced minutes this week, which could limit his output. Could be a risky play.
Terrell May 55 avg (Wests Tigers vs Eels) — 53% selected
Averaging 34 tackles and 111 run metres per game despite only playing 55 minutes on average. If May was getting 80 minute games, he’d be one of the highest scoring middles in the comp. Seven offloads through three rounds show he’s not just a workhorse, he’s looking to play. The Eels have allowed 46 avg GDS to opposing props in 2026.
Isaah Yeo 56 avg (Panthers vs Storm) — 50% selected
Averaging 29 tackles and 127 run metres per game with a try, a try assist and six offloads through four rounds. Yeo’s value comes from doing a bit of everything. He tackles, he runs, he links the play and he finds the offload. That kind of all round game builds a floor that very few locks can match. The Storm have allowed 38 avg GDS to opposing locks in 2026.
Hooker
Blayke Brailey 57 avg (Sharks vs Warriors) — 48% selected
Guaranteed 80 minutes every week, averaging 45 tackles per game with three try assists through four rounds. His tackle count alone provides a rock solid floor that few hookers can match. The Warriors have allowed 39 avg GDS to opposing hookers in 2026.
Third Half
Jayden Campbell 82 avg (Titans vs Broncos) — 51% selected
Two tries, two try assists and five goals in just two games. Campbell has burst onto the scene as the highest averaging half in the comp at 82 GDS. The Broncos have allowed 58 avg GDS to opposing halfbacks in 2026. His involvement in everything the Titans do in attack, combined with the Broncos’ halfback vulnerability, makes this one of the best matchups of the round.
Bench Backs
Tom Trbojevic 69 avg (Sea Eagles vs Dolphins) — 38% selected
Four tries and three try assists through three rounds, averaging 191 run metres per game. When Turbo is on the field, he’s one of the most damaging fullbacks in the league. The Dolphins have allowed 52 avg GDS to opposing fullbacks in 2026.
Latrell Mitchell 62 avg (Rabbitohs vs Bulldogs) — 34% selected
(GDS: FLB) Three tries, two try assists and ten goals through three rounds. Mitchell’s goal kicking gives him a floor that most backs can’t reach, and his ability to break the line (four line breaks this season) adds genuine ceiling. He’s named at centre but holds a FLB position in GDS. The Bulldogs have allowed 48 avg GDS to opposing fullbacks in 2026.
Bench Forwards
Arama Hau 52 avg (Titans vs Broncos) — 1% selected
Scored an explosive 98 in R4 and is building nicely with two tries through four rounds. Averaging 34 tackles per game, his defensive workload provides a solid base. The Broncos have allowed 73 avg GDS to opposing right edge second rowers in 2026 (Garner 54, Tuilagi 78, Chan 82, Finefeuiaki 79), the highest edge allowance in the league by a clear margin. At 1% ownership he’s the ultimate POD this round.
Alex Twal 61 avg (Wests Tigers vs Eels) — 11% selected
Averaging 40 tackles and 134 run metres per game, Twal’s defensive workload is generating serious GDS points. Trending sharply upwards with scores improving each week. The Eels have allowed 46 avg GDS to opposing props in 2026.
This squad is built on 2026 form and verified opposition scoring data. The best matchups are Hau vs the Broncos (73 avg allowed to right EDGs, highest in the comp by far), Isaako vs the Sea Eagles (63 avg allowed to right WNGs), Campbell vs the Broncos (58 avg allowed to HBs), and Luki vs the Dragons (66 avg allowed to right EDGs). The POD edge comes from Hau (1%), Twal (11%), Finefeuiaki (15%), and Luki (20%).
