His most recent International short format tournament was the 2023 ODI World Cup, where he averaged a staggering 92.2 GDS fantasy points per game! Head also offers a unique skillset that not many designated batsman can offer in GameDay Squad, there is a very high chance new captain and Head's test captain Pat Cummins could lean on Head for some overs of bowling, which would nail down Head as a bonafide must-start!

Marquee signing and new captain Pat Cummins is set to destroy rival attacks with his world renowned ability with ball. It's no secret that Cummins is one of the worlds premier bowlers and has had incredible amounts of success as Australia's test captain. Cummins stands out as the Sunrisers best play but it's not just his bowling that is going to give him the edge when it comes to selection time for your GameDay Squad. Cummins boasts a very respectable 18.95 batting average in the IPL! That is some serious output from a player listed as a bowler in GDS!
All-rounders
Is there anything New Zealander Glenn Phillips isn't able to excel at on a cricket field? He bats, bowls, he can wicket-keep but he's also starting to make a case for being the best fielder in world cricket right now! Personally, I still think Ravi Jadeja edges him out, but Phillips is starting to catch the Indian legend. I think Phillips' ability to impact a game in all three facets will land him a spot in the starting Sunrisers XI. Because he will bat, bowl and field in all the hot zones means that he should be in consideration for selection in GameDay Squad!
Wicket Keeper
There are very few cricketers who can turn into absolute world beaters on the biggest stage and one of them is Henrich Klaasen. Klaasen has been decimating domestic T20 leagues all around the globe for some time now, his most recent efforts in the SA20 league, Klaasen scored the second most runs tournament wide (447 runs), had by far the highest run rate (207.91 SR) and also hit the most sixes of all SA20 batsman (37 Sixes).
